Sharif slams US war on terror in Pakistan

After a meeting with United States ambassador to Pakistan Anne W Patterson in Islamabad on Monday, Pakistan's former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that the current method in the war on terror is not in 'anyone's interests' and that Pakistan will have to formulate its own strategies.
The meeting between the US diplomat and officials of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was held to discuss political developments after opposition parties won in the country's elections on February 18.
