O'nly Shah Rukh Khan and sex sells in the industry,' Neha Dhupia declared last year, in apparent justification for her bold and daring role in Julie.

The former Miss India was accurate about the marquee value of sex when Julie, a movie about a sex worker, made people notice her and how!

A few days before the release of her new film, Sheesha -- another sizzlers if the promos are any indication -- Neha chats with News Editor (Entertainment) Syed Firdaus Ashraf.

Don't you think people will draw parallels between Julie and Sheesha?

Sheesha is not close to Julie. I play a fashion designer in Sheesha. I had another role in Julie. Sia in Sheesha is a modern girl. I have worked honestly on Sia's character and hope people like it.

Fortunately or unfortunately, I have a tag of being a sex symbol. It is sad that after only one film, I have got this tag. People think there will be something scandalous in my film.

In Hollywood, if a person does comedy, he can play serious roles as well. But Bollywood has definite rules. We get tagged very soon.

I admire Anupam Kher. He has played a woman, a villain and so many other roles. Unfortunately, he never did a Saaransh again. Why can't we do things that people don't expect us to do?
