Ireland's Boyd Rankin (right) celebrates after taking the early wicket of England opener Ed Joyce.
England, who elected to bat first, finished at 266 for seven during their first Super Eight match against Ireland at Guyana National Stadium in Georgetown on Friday.
Ed Joyce, born in Dublin and playing against his countrymen, was bowled for one off Rankin's first ball of the match as he left a ball angled in from outside off stump.
