New Zealand, propelled by half-centuries from Fleming, Ross Taylor, Scot Styris and Craig McMillan, scored 331 for seven against Kenya in a World Cup Group C match on Tuesday.
The innings started poorly, with opener Lou Vincent out for a second successive nought to the fourth ball of the day.
New Zealand qualified for the World Cup Super Eights thanks to an emphatic 148-run victory.
