Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa
Who's there? Shah Rukh Khan, Suchitra Krishnamurthy, Deepak Tijori, Naseeruddin Shah.
What's it about? He's (SRK) high on Anna (Krishnamurthy), low on academics! She likes him, loves another (Tijori). Heartbreak is certain. Hey, wait! There's hope. Or better still, Juhi Chawla.
A class act: SRK dominates Kundan Shah's low-budget beauty with his eager but endearing lover boy act. Although it is DDLJ that enjoys historic status, this one ranks as one of his best performances. No hamming, no stuttering, no hyper hand movements, simply SRK, straight from the heart.
