McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, fresh from consecutive victories in England and Germany, revved it up in Mumbai on Thursday during a promotional event organised by telecom giant Vodafone at go-karting track in suburban Powai.
The ace driver, who is leading the Formula One drivers' standings presently, drove seven laps in a go-kart around a rain-drenched track to cheers of hundreds of fans.

Later, talking about the sport, Hamilton said speeds in Formula One racing are unlikely to be reduced despite new rules and regulations being introduced by the governing body, FIA.
"GP2 is getting faster and Formula One will have to stay faster. But the thing is every time new rules and regulations are brought in teams only get faster," he said.
