Roger Federer is congratulated by Marat Safin after the first semi-final in the men's singles at Wimbledon on Friday.
The world number one strolled into his sixth successive Wimbledon final with a straightforward 6-3, 7-6, 6-4 defeat of the Russian.
"It is great," Federer said after wrapping up what was his 65th straight win on grass. "It is a beautiful feeling to
have the opportunity to win the title again here."
