Tibetans in exile are planning to march from India to Tibet to protest China's hosting of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Five leading Tibetan organizations announced the launch of the "Tibetan People's Uprising Movement" in New Delhi on Friday -- a new co-ordinated resistance effort in the run up to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The 2008 Olympic Games will take place in the Chinese capital in August this year.
