Barcelona bow out at Anfield

Holders Barcelona went out of the Champions League in the first knockout phase on Tuesday when their 1-0 win at Anfield was not enough to prevent Liverpool advancing on the away goals rule after a 2-2 aggregate.
Barcelona looked sluggish all night, personified in Ronaldinho who hit the post when through on goal after 53 minutes.
