Defending champion Amelie Mauresmo had no problems getting past American Jamea Jackson in her first round match on day two of the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, on Tuesday.
Mauresmo, whose year has been hampered by illness and injury, looked calm and assured as she opened the traditional "Ladies' Day" proceedings on Centre Court, with an easy 6-1, 6-3 victory.
