Roger Federer and Justine Henin were crowned the ITF's 2006 World Champions.
Federer won the Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open along with the season-ending Masters series in Shanghai while Henin became the first woman since Steffi Graf to reach the finals of all four Grand Slams in a calendar year.
Bob and Mike Bryan were honoured as world doubles champions, while Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur picked up the equivalent women's award.
