Kolhapur motor sport fans were treated to a rich fare of two-wheeler racing after Inspector General of Police, Kolhapur, Ashok Dhivare flagged off the proceedings in the morning.
Arvind and Joshua, both astride a TVS 125X, set the tone for the day’s challenge in the first race itself -- the Indian Expert Championship for foreign motorcycles Group A 2 & 4 stroke. Joshua led the 13-lap race till the tenth lap only to be hampered by a fuel problem which forced him to concede the lead to Arvind and settle for second place. Mumbai’s Rustom Patel, astride a Suzuki RM, placed a distant third.

Pinkesh Thakker (No. 99) leads the pack followed by Jatin Jain from Nagpur (70) and Eeshan Lokhande (112).
