Schumacher beat two-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson in a head-to-head race and Germany defeated Finland to win Sunday's Race of Champions Nations Cupm.

Johnson's lack of familiarity with the hand-brake/gear shift levels showed as he struggled against Schumacher in identically-prepared four-wheel-drive rally cars. The racing, decided more by handling than speed, was conducted on a soccer pitch covered by asphalt.
"It was fun," Johnson said, "just a great experience to be over here."
