English champions Chelsea went to the top of Champions League Group A as Didier Drogba's hat-trick eased them to a 3-1 victory over injury-hit debutants Levski Sofia at the national stadium Vasil Levski.
The opening goal came six minutes from halftime when keeper Georgi Petkov parried John Obi Mikel's rasping close-range shot and Drogba (left) scored from the rebound.
