Ghana President John Agyekum Kufuor chats with football great Franz Beckenbauer, chairman of the World Cup 2006 organising committee, before his country's game versus Italy on June 12 in Hannover.
It was Ghana's first appearance in a World Cup finals.
Kufuor is also on the board of a local football club back home. Ghana is a passionate footballing nation and any back street or clearing is used for a round of soccer.
