Andy Roddick of the United States hits a backhand in his second round match against Wesley Moodie of South Africa during day three of the Australian Open.

The second seed, who won 7-5, 6-3, 6-2, said he "jammed" his right ankle during the first set, but added he expects to be fit for his third round match on Friday.

"I'm sure with a little bit of TLC (tender loving care) it'll be okay," Roddick said after the match.
