FINA World Championships
Laura Ann Wilkinson of the US sets up her dive en route to winning the gold medal in the women's 10-metre platform final during day four of the ninth FINA World Championships at the Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, on Wednesday.
Wilkinson, 10-metre champion at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, claimed top spot on the podium with a mark of 564.87.
The victory ended the domination of Chinese and Canadian divers who between them had swept the gold medals in all four previous events.
