British Grand Prix
Juan Pablo Montoya won the British Grand Prix for McLaren on Sunday to chalk up his first success of the Formula One season.
The noisiest of sports fell silent at the British Grand Prix as Formula One paid its respects to those who lost their lives in the London bomb blasts before the cars got on to the track.
After the national anthem was played, drivers stood together, cap in hand for a minute's silence 10 minutes before the race.
The 100,000 sellout crowd joined them as a hush fell over the former World War Two airfield and flags flew at half mast.
