Australian Open - Day 1
Serena Wiliams hits a backhand to Camille Pin of France. The American made a successful return to Melbourne with a no-nonsense 6-1, 6-1 win in the first round.
An occasionally rusty Williams broke Pin in the second and fourth games of the first set but then dropped her own serve in the fifth.
The pair swapped service breaks again at the start of the second set before Williams powered away into the second round.
"I was a little nervous going into it but after the first game I was okay," said Serena, who was out for eight months after winning Wimbledon in 2003.
"I feel like I have always said, when I am at my best, no-one can beat me. I think that is just the bottom line."
