Substitute Joe Cole scored in the 64th minute to seal a 1-0 victory for Chelsea.

This was Chelsea's fourth 1-0 victory of the season and closes the gap on Premier League leaders Arsenal to two points. After eight matches, Arsenal have 22 points and Chelsea are second on 20.
