Pass the Flame, unite the world
Greek priestesses hold the Olympic Flame in the ancient sanctuary.
At the centre of every city-state in ancient Greece there was an altar with an ever-burning fire. In every home too the sacred Flame burned. It was dedicated to Hestia, the goddess of the family.
