Greece vs Russia

The Russians stunned the Greeks with the fastest goal in European Championship finals history when Kirichenko scored after just over a minute's play.
An inspired Russia beat Greece 2-1 but the victory came too late to save them from elimination, while Greece qualified for the quarter-finals.
