The US Grand Prix

Ferrari's Michael Schumacher sped to his eighth win in nine races in an action-packed U.S. Grand Prix that left younger brother Ralf in hospital and saw just eight cars finish the 73-lap race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

It was the world champion's 78th career win and he had to fight for it every inch of the way.
