From sportspersons to physically challenged individuals to achievers and role models -- people from all walks of life will spread the message 'Pass the flame, Unite the world' when the Olympic Flame comes to Delhi on June 10.

Among them will be Class 12 student Nikhila S Srinivasan, computer science engineer Ashok Paskalraj, Dr Velmurugan, who practises the Siddha system of medicine, and Raghu Pillai, President and CEO, retail sector, RPG Group.

They are among 42 torch-bearers and seven escort runners who were selected to carry the Olympic Torch on the Olympic Flame's first truly global relay. They won the honour after participating in an essay competition on 'the person who inspires you the most.'

Shobha Warrier spoke with the Chennai-based quartet.
