Russian Elena Dementieva celebrates after beating Argentine Paola Suarez 6-0, 7-5 to reach the women's singles final.
Dementieva became the first Russian woman in 30 years to reach the final of a Grand Slam singles event.
"I must win the tournament now. I have no choice or the crowd will never forgive me for beating Amelie," said the ninth-seed.
