The many faces of Marat Safin
The towering, talented Marat Safin remains an enigma. The Russian is one of the few professional players capable of dominating a match with both his serve and return. Safin's talent is undeniable, but his temperament has often led to his downfall.
The former world number one, now a lowly 86th in the world, overcame Todd Martin in a dramatic 7-5, 1-6, 4-6, 6-0, 7-5 centre court clash to reach the fourth round of the Australian Open.
