Mumbai Marathon 2004

The first ever Mumbai International Marathon took off amidst a cool breeze in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Around 20,000 runners, young and old, turned out to compete in three categories. There were 17,000 plus for the Dream Run (7 kms), 2000-odd for the half-marathon and 600 runners for the 42.195-kilometres Full Marathon.
