March 24. Monaco goalkeeper Flavio Roma shows his despair during the UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in Madrid.

Monaco were outplayed in the first leg match as Real registered a comfortable 4-2 victory.

However, in the second leg, Monaco produced an all-time upset when they overcame the first-leg deficit to knock Real Madrid out of the Champions League with a 3-1 victory.
