Shevchenko has scored 102 goals in the Serie A over the last six seasons and helped Milan win the Champions League in 2003 and the Italian title in 2004.
In May 2003, he scored the decisive penalty in the Champions League shootout against Juventus.
The AC Milan striker was named European Footballer of the Year 2004, pipping the Barcelona duo, Deco and Ronaldinho.
