CIA chief meets home ministry officials

Central Intelligence Agency chief Leon Panetta met Home Minister P Chidambaram and officials of Indian home ministry on Thursday, to discuss the security situation in South Asia.
During his stay, he is scheduled to meet India's National Security Advisor M K Narayanan and other senior security officials.
The impact of the global economic crisis on the internal security of the countries and growing militancy in the subcontinent are likely to figure in the talks.
