Negotiations between Congress allies continue

Key allies of the ruling Congress - led United Progressive Alliance on Wednesday continued hectic negotiations to narrow down differences over seat-sharing talks, for the coming national polls beginning next month.
Lalu Prasad Yadav, chief of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, a key player in Bihar state, underplayed rift with the Congress.
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav also hoped to resolve differences with the Congress over seat sharing issues in Uttar Pradesh.
