Election Commission slaps notice to Mulayam Singh Yadav

As the Election Commission slapped notice on Samajwadi Party for violating the election code in Holi function, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday rapped SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, also criticising the ruling Congress party for allegedly, playing soft with its key ally.
The Election Commission has asked Yadav to explain by Saturday why wads of notes were distributed during the Holi festival celebrations at the Saifai village, in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
