BJP steps up the ante ahead of general elections

Political activities is at its high ahead of general election in India as senior leader of main opposition Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party, Lal Krishna Advani on Sunday said the Communists and the federal main ruling Congress party are in an informal alliance. Meanwhile the BJP's core committee met in New Delhi to discuss its future course in the wake of regional Biju Janata Dal snapping ties ahead of Orissa state assembly and national elections.
