Centre playing vote-bank politics: BJP

Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday accused the Central government of playing vote bank politics.

Addressing a public rally in Bangalore, senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani charged the government for delaying the hanging of Afzal Guru, because he was a Muslim.

The general elections which are to be held sometime in May would mainly see contest between the ruling Congress party-led United Progressive Alliance, and the National Democratic Alliance, headed by the BJP.
