It is a rare sight to see chief ministers and ministers from various Indian states belonging to rival parties sharing the same stage. Such rare occasion was on the last day of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Chennai.
The dignitaries were the chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, deputy chief minister of Bihar, minister of state for power, water supply and sanitation from Punjab, and minister for parliamentary affairs from Haryana, minister of industries from Kerala, minister of industry and local government from Punjab and the Governor of Andaman and Nicobar.
