C K Prahalad is a professor at the university of Michigan-business school and is considered to be one of the greatest Indian business thinkers.

Known for his prolific work and for his management, perceptions and strategies, Prahalad has maintained a deep interest in the world's poor and has written the book, Fortune at the bottom of the pyramid.

He was named as one of the top business professors in the US by the business week and also as one of the top 10 teachers in the world by the Wall Street Journal. He was recognized for his enormous contributions in the field of management and for enhancing the understanding of India through his academic work.
