Bharatiya Janata Party revives Ram Temple issue

India's main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party
or BJP on Saturday vowed that it would construct the Lord Ram temple at
Ayodhya if the party is voted to power in the ensuing polls to the
parliament. It may be recalled that this issue of temple has been a
flashpoint of tension between Hindus and Muslims for years.
