Zardari sworn in as Pakistan's president

Pakistan entered a new political era on Tuesday as Asif Ali Zardari was sworn in as the 11th president of Pakistan. Pakistan's top judge swore in Zardari at a ceremony in the Presidential Palace in Islamabad.
At the oath-taking ceremony, Zardari's son and co-chairperson of the Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto, daughters Bakhtawar and Asifa and Afghan President Hamid Karzai were also present.
