Kerala Christians celebrate Hindu ceremony

A Latin Catholic Church in Thiruvananthapuram, celebrated Hindu festival of ‘Vidhya-Arambham’, where the children are initiated into education on the auspicious day of Vijay Dashmi.

Vijay Dashmi is the day when Hindu lord Rama killed the demon king Ravana.

‘Vidhya-Arambham is actually a Hindu ceremony, but the Christians also celebrate it with same fervor.
