Lotus blooms in Karnataka

It was pure euphoria at the Bharatiya Janata Party's Karnataka headquarters in Bangalore as the saffron party on Sunday made its southern foray in Karnataka, completely in contrast to the palpable gloom at the Congress office not far away.
Party workers burst crackers and distributed sweets to celebrate the electoral victory in Karnataka, the first southern state to be won by the saffron outfit.
Party workers also celebrated the victory by dancing to the tune of drum beats.
