Karnataka goes saffron

The saffron flags have been barely visible all these days, thanks to the strict norms laid down by the Election Commission of India. But today, with the Bharatiya Janata Party's sweeping victory in Karnataka, the entire state donned the saffron hue.
The party has been confident of its victory all along, but dithered a bit when the first round of exit polls predicted that it would not fare too well. The party revamped its strategy and made changes in the choice of candidates, its manifesto and a host of other tactics.
