The second phase of polling concluded in Karnataka on Friday. The voter turnout was recorded at 60.3 per cent.
The figures are likely to go up after a thorough round of revision is done, informed Chief Electoral Officer (Karnataka) Vidyashankar.
The likes of B S Yeddyurappa, S Bangarappa, Kumar and Madhu Bangarappa, R V Deshpande, Sriramulu and Anil Lad tested their fortunes in the second phase, involving ten districts. The counting of votes will be taken up on May 25.
Polling was peaceful throughout the state, Vidyashankar said, adding that no re-polling was required in any of the booths.
