How epics revive puppetry

Epics like Ramayana are being used in Bhopal to revive puppet shows, a traditional and popular form of entertainment. Puppetry which was used to narrate the Indian epics and other moral tales is now being used to spread social messages including peace, religious tolerance, family planning, AIDS awareness, health concerns and education in the rural India to people, who mostly are illiterate or semi-literate.
