Party workers were seen at various booths trying to help the voters. It was all done in a subtle manner with no pomp and show.
A constant complaint that they had to deal with was the missing names in the voters' list. Several persons were seen returning dejected after they found that their names were missing from the list.
Unlike the earlier elections, people did not turn up in large numbers. During the previous polls, political parties used to arrange their own vehicles to ferry voters to the booths. This time, however, they have been warned against it and hence the voters ended up making their arrangements.
