The dullest election in years
May 10, 2008
The buzz is missing and it does not seem like polling day and several candidates in Karnataka are terming it as the dullest election they have seen in the past several years.
Polling commenced at 7 am and until 2 pm, the turnout was 35 per cent. Political activity near the booths was at a bare minimum with the Election Commission of India barring leaders and their men from hovering around in the 100 meter vicinity of polling booths.
