Security beefed up ahead of polls in Karnataka

Security has been beefed up in Karnataka ahead of the first round of the three-phased polling scheduled to be held on Saturday.

Out of the 224 member state assembly, 89 constituencies will go to polls in the first phase of the assembly elections. The state police are working hard to ensure peaceful and safe elections in the state.

Karnataka is slated to hold three-phased polls on May 10, 16 and 22. Votes will be counted on May 25 and results are expected by afternoon.
