Highway linking Leh to rest of India reopened

The highway linking Leh to the rest of the Indian subcontinent was reopened on Sunday after it was closed due to heavy winter snowfall.
Border Roads Organisation of India personnel, who have been trying to clear snow and other impediments from the highly treacherous road, connecting Ladakh to the rest of the country, via Himachal Pradesh since February, have finally succeeded in clearing it.
