She gave an hour-long speech to Hillary Clinton supporters at a rally hosted by Weber State University. Media reports, from the New York Times and others, were extremely positive, as was the blog circuit.

She combined some of her mother's exactness with her father's easy charm and likeability. When one audience member put forth a difficult question about her mother's supposed 'calculating' nature, Chelsea immediately quipped that it was time for a President who understood the importance of calculation when faced with difficult decisions. All said, she wowed the crowd, and hasn't looked back since.
