In a very brief speech, Rahul apologised for being late and added that he was happy to be in the hamlet. He assured to look into their grievances.
From there he left to Rupi Bhai's hut. Local leaders said Rupi Bhai is the poorest woman in the hamlet and Rahul was to stay over at her hut for the night. However, the programme was cancelled at the last minute.
Unlike the previous days, Rahul looked more comfortable and confident. He was clearly irritated with the photographers who shot him non-stop. He even requested photographers to switch off their cameras.
He also looked in control of party workers who were standing around him and in the bargain delaying the function. He got of his chair, walked up to them and shouted, "Will you all sit down please?"
A memorandum with the demands by the clan was presented to him. Immediately after the memorandum was submitted, his security men wanted to take the piece of paper from him. He just waved his hands to them and put the memorandum in his pocket.
