When Rahul arrived at around 10.45 pm at the hamlet, he was welcomed with an aarti by women in traditional colourful dress with mirror works. He then went around the hamlet trying to get a feel of the way the people live here.
He was later garlanded, presented with a peta (a traditional turban worn by the Lambhani men. He was also presented with a silver bangle by the women folk. The bangle is usually presented to the highest guest of honour in the hamlet.
